Hi I'm Brittanna

I grew up in Heber Valley, Utah. I am an Irish Dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to Irish Dance. I have been dancing for 14 years. I compete, perform, and now teach dance. Its such a unique sport, which is why I love it so much! Irish Dance is hard, but I can't think of anything else I would rather do! I also love traveling and learning about history, people, and cultures. I am studying in college to become a high school art teacher! I am so excited to share my talents and enjoyment of art with others. I am postponing my schooling for 18 months as I am leaving for a mission soon to the Czech Republic!

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my years in the church, I have found so much peace, joy, and light. I am a Mormon because I believe in the plan of salvation. I believe that we can be with our families forever. I also believe in the Book of Mormon as the true word of God. The scriptures give me hope and show me the path I should follow. As I have been a part of the gospel, I have come to know for myself that I am a Daughter of God and He loves me. Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, and also our older brother. He cares about each of us individually, and I feel His love. This church has blessed my life, and I love it.

How I live my faith

I have grown up my whole life in the church. I love going to church every Sunday, and activities throughout the week. I am currently in a young single adult ward and am serving on the Linger Longer Committee. I help organize and plan after church gatherings- with food- for the members to meet and get to know each other.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Brittanna
Mormons are not required to serve missions, but if they want to serve others and share the message of the gospel, they can. It is strongly encouraged for young men to serve missions, but young women, and seniors are welcome to serve as well. I am going on a mission, and I know it will be such an amazing experience. There is no requirement for me to serve a mission- I am doing it because I want to serve others and share what has brought me so much joy and hope in my life- the gospel of Jesus Christ.
