Hi I'm Jess

I'm from Utah. I went to school for a year at Utah State University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have danced hula for 15 years. I've done a few competitions with my hula group and have placed first a few times. I love playing my ukulele. I started learning that after I got my guitar which I started playing in second grade. I did my freshman year of college at Utah State University, but have taken a few classes from Utah Valley University. I love working with special needs and have done peer tutoring, special needs swim, and special needs mutual over the years.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons I am a Mormon. I love what the LDS church stands for and what they teach. It helps promote service and love and people in this religion practice what they preach. They go out of their way to serve others and have committees set up so people that need help can be taken care of. I also believe with all of my heart that what we teach and what we learn is true. It makes sense and what it teaches promotes good.

How I live my faith

I try to become involved. I am looking into joining a commit for the institute. I like to get involved because it helps you meet more people. I was the second councilor for the young women's youth group in my ward. I helped set up and prepare for girls camp and prepared the food with other volunteers. I typed up the ward program for the Sunday Sacrament meeting which helped me reach out to people and get to know people.
