Hi I'm Ethan

I was born and raised in Singapore. I love sports, and to sing and dance too. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports, especially ball sports and racquet sports. I have been playing badminton for 10 years. I am currently serving a mission in California, Arcadia, and am planning to attend Brigham Young University (Provo) when I am done serivng my mission. I studied up to Junior College and have an A Level certificate.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. His plan of salvation gives me a lot of hope and comfort in knowing that I can see my loved ones and family again. I have been greatly blessed by being a member of this church. I continue to live the gospel and its teachings because I know that I will receive many blessings that are necessary, even though there may be trials and challenges in my life. I know that if I faithfully endure these trials and remain righteous, I will be blessed and assisted on my way through this mortal journey.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I served as an advisor for young men aged 12-18. I regularly teach them lessons on Sunday, and help them learn and grow as they face many different challenges in their youth. I helped them to organize wholesome activities which contribute to both their spiritual and secular growth. In my own youth days, I also served as the representative of a group of these young men in my home ward. I also did regular hometeaching, which comprises of a companion and myself visiting families regularly, enquiring on their well-being and sharing gospel messages with them.
