Hi I'm Logan Little

I am from Florida, I am a recent high school graduate, I have previously shown live stock, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Lake City, Florida. In high school I did dual enrollment so I got a lot of my college classes out of the way that I need to graduate with an AA degree. I am currently putting college on hold and I have been called to serve in the Chile, Santiago East mission. Through out middle school and high school I have shown live stock in my local county fair for a total of about eight years.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are members of the church but my mom was a convert to the church so I was born into the gospel. The gospel has always been taught in my home and as a young child I never questioned what my parents were teaching me I just went a long with it because I never knew anything different. In my teenage years I went through a lot of trials and I had to find out for myself if the gospel was true. I had the wonderful opportunity of attending girls camp (a church program for young women ages 12-18). One year at camp before testimony meeting we had the opportunity to go into the woods and say a personal prayer, at that time I asked Heavenly Father for myself if Joseph Smith was a Prophet and if this church was true. I had an overwhelming sense of peace come over me and I knew, in that moment that it was true. After that experience I have had many trails come my way and the only place that I have found hope, peace, comfort, joy, and happiness has been through the gospel. The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is the only church that teaches that families can be together forever through the sacred covenants that we can partake of in the temple. To me, family is everything and I could not imagine a day with out them. The gospel has helped me know who I am and whose I am. It has taught me that no matter how far I stray that Christ will always have an arm out reaching for me and wanting for me to come back and that through his atonement I too can be cleansed from my sins and return to live with him and my Father in Heaven one day.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to my live my faith by being an example of the savior. When I think of Jesus Christ I think of service, love, and compassion. In church as a young woman I have had the opportunity to be on a youth committee. On this committee we had the opportunity to discuss the needs and concerns of the youth in our area. As we discussed and the needs and concerns of the youth we then came up with activities and devotionals that we thought would help uplift, encourage and educate the youth. From being on this committee I learned about the love that the savior and our Heavenly Father have for all of us.
