Hi I'm Abe Danielle Maquiran Pongyan

I am a Filipino. I am a pianist. a Mormon.

About Me

Like Nephi, I was born of goodly parents. We are 8 in the family including my papa and mama. Both my parents were returned missionaries. I am the fourth child and the third from the last. I am also the fourth child who will serve a mission. My family is so much centered on the gospel and each of us has a calling and responsibility may it be in our ward or stake. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service because I want to be a diplomat. I love learning cultures, languages, geography, history and so forth about different places. I want to travel the world. I am a musician. I can play piano and in fact, am the pianist of our ward. I can also play guitar, flute and xylophone. I love reading books most especially inspirational and church published books.

I felt a calm and peaceful feeling inside my heart and I know it must be the Holy Ghost confirming the truthfulness of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I serve various callings in our ward. At sacrament meetings, I am a musical director and a pianist and I organize the hymns to be sung for members to feel the Spirit. I am also the young women's first counselor. I love the young women and I love teaching and preparing them for the future. I am also their personal progress specialist. I update the values that they finish and keep in track their progress. I am a ward missionary, I visit less active members and sometimes accompany the missionaries in their teaching appointments. I am also a seminary teacher. I love teaching and learning from my five studen
