Hi I'm Liam

I grew up both in Solana Beach, California, and Layton, Utah. I love to sing and perform in musicals and plays. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated high school and am going to be serving my mission in Portland, Oregon. I am a total goofball and I love to be in musicals and plays. I won best supporting actor in the state of Utah for High School students. I have played many different parts in my life. My favorites were Donkey in "Shrek: the Musical", The Beast in "Beauty & the Beast", Sebastian in "The Little Mermaid", and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde in the musical "Jekyll and Hyde". As much as I love music and singing and acting, I also have a few other hobbies. I love to play the piano and draw pictures, and I love to spend time with family and friends. I will be going to College when I return from my Mission and I plan on pursuing an artistic or theatrical career. I love the gospel and I'm excited for the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Love and Eternal Families. I am a Mormon because I believe in Hope. I know that sometimes religion in general seems far-fetched or bizarre, but when it comes down to it, religion is about hope and finding your purpose. I still have a lot to learn, but I have a strong and developing testimony of The LDS Church. I know that there is some sort of creator, and I believe that this is the same God from The Bible, the same God that Joseph Smith saw and spoke to in the Sacred Grove. I know that he sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins and to allow us to be saved in the last days. Christ's Love is astounding and it truly is infinite. I love the Gospel and follow its teachings because it teaches people to be loving, accepting, and understanding. It gives people a purpose and meaning. It let's people know that they are never alone and can always be saved. I love the comfort that these truths provide. I have a lot to learn, but I know this church is special above all others and teaches the truth. I know that God and Christ are real and that this is their true church.

How I live my faith

My current calling in The Church is a missionary. In the LDS Church we can choose to leave on a 2-year mission, during which we teach the gospel and serve the people of wherever we are called. I was called to serve in Portland, Oregon. I will be teaching and serving and bringing people to Christ for two years, then I will return and receive a new calling.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Liam
Before becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church), I would suggest that you contact your local Missionaries and have them teach you everything you need to know about our Church. Once you have learned all you feel you need to know, you may set a date for your Baptism, which, when done with the right authority, will begin your membership in the LDS Church! Baptism is when you are submerged in water to be cleansed by the Spirit of God. Once baptized, all your sins are washed away and you are completely clean and free from your burdens! By living worthily in the Church after we are Baptized, we can stay clean and and enjoy the constant blessings that God promises us. Joining the Church will change your life! Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Liam
All things denote that there is a God. From the skies above to the bottom of the ocean, everything is proof that God lives. All the intricacies of nature and the complexities of our minds and bodies suggest that we weren't created by chance or by accident. God also can be found through Love. Every expression of love is of God. He loves all of us more than we could ever imagine, and we can FEEL that love when we turn to Him in prayer. For anyone struggling with the idea that there is a God, I would challenge you to kneel in a quiet place and pray to Him. You will feel His presence when you pray to Him with a sincere heart. I promise you this in the name of His son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Show more Show less
