Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a nursing student, love volleyball, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up around the United States: California, Utah, & New York. I am currently a nursing student and work as a nurse's assistant.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes me happy! The knowledge and testimony I have that Jesus Christ suffered and died, then was resurrected, and now lives gives me hope that I can return to live with God. Jesus Christ comforts me when I'm discouraged, my Friend when I'm lonely, my strength when I'm fatigued, and my Confidant when I need someone who understands. Keeping His commandments, taught in the LDS Church, are the way to be have peace in this life, and eternal happiness in the next life. Try it! I know, from personal experience, that if you keep the commandments of Jesus Christ, you will experience a greater measure of fulfillment and joy!

How I live my faith

I teach a Sunday school class, Marriage Prep, to young adults and regularly make home visits to other women in our congregation to uplift and serve them! As a nursing student and learning all about the human body, my testimony of a Supreme Creator is reaffirmed. Every structure in the human body, no matter the size, has a purposeful and important role in the body's function. We are sons and daughters of Heavenly Father, created in His image. We, like Him, have a body of flesh and bones. Studying to be a nurse, I have an incredible opportunity to serve others with useful skills. I find purpose in serving like the Savior, literally using my skills to help heal others.
