Hi I'm Mallory Madsen

I grew up in Utah. I continue to live and share the gospel the best I can. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved to dance, sing, act, read and learn. I attend Brigham Young University and am majoring in Elementary Education. Learning has been such a big part of my life and I hope to help others love to learn just like I did. I love to serve others. I have done humanitarian trips to Mexico, Ghana, Peru, and Thailand. Thailand has a big piece of my heart after living there for 4 months teaching English. I am thankful for the life I have been given and strive to make it the best I can each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know of the truthfulness of the message of Jesus Christ. I was born in a LDS home but have gained my own testimony. Through daily scripture study, daily prayer, weekly church attendance, and my own personal studies I have gained a strong testimony. I know that this gospel is true with my whole heart. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and received an answer that the truths that it contains are true. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and that He lives. I am grateful that through the atonement I can repent and start over. I know that I am a child of God and that Heavenly Father loves me. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church and that there are prophets on this church today. I know that this church is true. I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I know that because of it I am happy and at peace with life and all that it has to offer.

How I live my faith

All growing up I have been a member of the church. I grew up learning and loving the gospel. I served in presidencies during my time in the Young Women's program and most recently have been called as a Sunbeams teacher. I have loved this calling and getting to teach the children. I teach such simple doctrine that helps me understand the gospel better. It reminds me that the gospel is simple. I am grateful for all that I have learned through this gospel and through the people that I get to serve with.
