Hi I'm Audrey Wilhelm

I grew up in Utah. I am a ballroom dancer and a singer/songwriter. I am serving in the Singapore Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a ballroom dancer, a soon-to-be student at BYU Provo, an LDS missionary, and an avid songwriter and musician. I could live off popcorn, pasta, and nutella. I am a math nerd, but I don't know if that is what I want to do with my life. I love the mountains, Disneyland, and my ukulele. I have two dorky siblings, and two dorkier parents, but I love them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know its teachings are true. I have read the Book of Mormon and I have prayed, and I know for a surety that this gospel is true. The last chapters of the Book of Mormon contain a promise, that if we read and pray in earnest we can know for ourselves that it is true. My answer came as a whisper that I have always known, since I was a little child. For others this comes as a warm feeling. But once you feel it, you know.

How I live my faith

I was a camp counselor at an LDS Girls Camp, where I taught my campers how to identify the Spirit in their lives. We are literal children of a Father in Heaven who listens to us, hears our prayers, and talks to us through the promptings of the Holy Ghost. When we learn to identify His presence in our lives, we start to understand who we are, why we are here, and what our future can be. I am excited to spend 18 months serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I want to share the message of the Gospel with others. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to hear about this Gospel and to find the joy that it brings to people's lives. This means putting my college plans on hold, but I believe that helping people to find Jesus Christ is worth the wait. I live my faith by applying the principles I learn when reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible. To be a follower of Christ, you should try to live as He lived. His life was spent serving others, and loving others. I am happier when I am striving to live as He did.
