Hi I'm Leanna

I grew up in Southern California, and I am the fisrt in my family to serve a mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the LDS church with all of my family. I am the youngest of four girls who are each married in the Mormon temple and have lots of children. I've grown up loving my nephews and nieces always and I have decided to go on a mission to show them to stand up for what they believe in and to go out and serve the Lord. Aside from religious practices I am an artist and have worked in preschool helping children prepare for a lifetime of education. I have had many times of mental weakness and have felt lonely and unworthy, but through the Savoir I know that God loves me and he has a plan for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that without God, my Heavenly Father, I am nothing. Through all the personal hardships I've gone through I came to the realization that I had to trust my Heavenly Father that he would guide me through it and that I would be able to conquer anything. I know my Heavenly Father Loves each and everyone of us, and he wants us to know that we can find comfort in him; for that is why I will follow him and the perfect example that his son, Jesus Christ has set for us.

How I live my faith

In the church I have helped plan fun and spiritually uplifting activities for girls camp, we go every year with the young women. I have also for a time been given the opportunity to teach a class the the children ages three to four. As a young adult have have been able to attend scripture study classes and have gone to many fun game night activities to be with people who share my beliefs. Actively participating with other members and helping the youth has blessed me in many ways. I have seen God's love for his children.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Leanna
Mormons just like every good christian, follow the example of Jesus Christ by doing as he did; healing the sick, comforting those in need of comfort, and showing love to all. Jesus showed tender love and mercy to all, so we believe in helping all, Mormon or not. Show more Show less
