Hi I'm Shannae Lynne Williams

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I love to smile & I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a true New Mexican. Green and red chilis are my best friends. Make me some green chili stew like my mom and I'll be your best friend!!! But don't forget tortillas. I love sports and being outside! In high school I was a cross country runner, swimmer, soccer player, and ran hurdles in track! I am always giggling over something and I always have a smile on my face. Life is just too good to be sad! 🤗 (And the hugging emoji is my all time fav)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, meaning both my parents were both baptized and active in the church when I was born. When I was 8 years old I made the decision to get baptized and to be confirmed a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. During this time I was in primary, which is where the children of our church that are under 12 years old go to sing songs, and learn about Heavenly Father and His Plan for us. At 12 I moved up to the older young women class. At 18 I moved to the relief society program for those 18 and over. During the time I was in high school (about age 14) 9th through 12th grade

How I live my faith

Currently, I serve with 2 other beautiful ladies in my church. We are called to this work and we specially work with the women, to help and unify us all together through activities, spiritual lessons, dances, fun games, laughter and LOTS OF FOOD. We have a scripture in 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 verse 8. This is our motto ''Charity never Failith". We know that a love with charity is the best love! In high school I was in ROTC for all 4 years, I've done quite a lot through the ROTC program for my community, as well as through the youth programs the church has. The more service I do, the more I know that I am doing my part in the church. I have loved every calling I've had, and my favorite upcoming calling is my mission in San Fernando California! I am so excited to meet new people and to share the love of the gospel. It is the reason why I am so happy everyday.
