Hi I'm Cameron

I grew up in Idaho. I've grown up in the LDS church, and have always been happy about it. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been someone who loves the outdoors. I love being active and participating in various sports and activites. I ran cross country and track for 7 years, and I also have played a variety of other sports such as basketball, football, and volleyball. I am a recent graduate from high school, and I am about to serve an LDS mission. After that I plan on attending college and eventually finding a wife to marry in the temple. I've had struggles, but have always been able to overcome them through help of loved ones and the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I have always grown up in the LDS church, I had to make the decision when I was 8 if it was the right thing for me. When I came to this point I knew that if I wanted to experience the love and joy that my family members had, then I needed to be baptized. Knowing that I am a literal son of God, always brings me peace, and makes me feel that I really do have a purpose in this life. There have been times where I wonder if I can move on through trials and tough experiences, and I can say that Every time I have encountered these things, I have always been able to overcome whats in the way and learn to be grateful for the hard things that challenged me.

How I live my faith

So I have always found joy in the church. Whenever I feel down from things outside of it, I know I can always come to the church and find peace. When I do the things that are instructed, such as serving others, reading scriptures, and praying, I can always have a calm mind and feel loved. When you start to share the gospel with people either in your ward or just friends, you always find a deeper appreciation and love for them in whatever circumstance they may be in.
