Hi I'm Diana Hanson

I am a Mormon. I am grateful for my very wonderful family and for the great love from my Heavenly Father.

About Me

I have 5 children who each are very good people. They, and my husband and myself, have all completed post-graduate degrees at universities. My Master's degree is in Nutrition.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that my Heavenly Father loves me (all of us) dearly, and wants me (all of us) to find happiness in returning to Him. He has given me (all of us) the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to provide a wonderful way to do that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to make my life and the lives of others grow more happily towards what our Heavenly Father wants us to be. I have great faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I live that faith by trying to follow His example.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Diana Hanson
Members of the Church strive to bless and help all of Heavenly Father's children, no matter of faith or religion. The Mormon Church has donated more than $1 billion in cash and material assistance to 167 different countries in need of humanitarian aid since it started keeping track in 1985. I and my husband are leaving at the end of this month to go to serve a humanitarian mission in a country in Africa that is 7% Christian with only a few Mormons. Joseph Smith himself taught that we are "to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all."
