Hi I'm Marvin

I'm from Arizona. I'm a musician, photographer, artist, and future architect. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 years old and have been called to serve a mission in Japan and will be reporting on November 29, 2017! I am 6'4 and love sports, particularly rugby. Mostly though, I love music, art, and photography. I love to travel and explore the world. I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures! I really appreciate nature and adore camping out in the wilderness. I plan on going to college to study business and architecture. I love God, I love this church, and I love life because it is an adventure. Go out and enjoy it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed and asked my Heavenly Father if this church is true. He has confirmed it to me again and again. I learned to not lean onto my own understanding and to open my heart for the Spirit to testify unto me that the Book of Mormon is true, and that this church is truly the restored church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I enjoy spreading love to everyone in all kinds of ways. One way I do it is by going hometeaching! I visit families in my church and see if there is anything that I could help them with, such as moving furniture, maintaining the yard, or even with their spiritual needs, such as a blessing of comfort or confirmation. I like to pray for people that need it and offer if I can do anything for them. At one point, I had a position in the church where I helped the missionaries with finding people to teach this amazing gospel! I love to go to the temple to feel its warmth and feel peace while I walk its divine grounds. I try my best to be an example of love, kindness, and service; because that is what this church stands for, the pure love of Christ: charity.
