Hi I'm Cole Mecham

I've lived in Utah my whole life, I have been called to serve as a Missionary in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up a Mormon, but I have not always believed in it. I have had my fair share of struggles, mainly while deciding if I was going to serve a mission or not. I struggled with addiction, anxiety and depression, but most of all, the understanding that Christ died for me and his Atonement is infinite. In the midst of all of my struggles, I came to the conclusion that I would not serve a mission and this gospel wasn't for me. A while after that, one of my friends gave a talk in church, that really touched me. She talked about God's love for us and the Atonement, how they are connected, and how the Atonement has changed her life. I realized, at that moment, that I needed to serve a mission, no matter how long or hard the road. I battled with my addictions, sought help for my anxiety and depression and ever so slowly, I came back to Christ. It has not been an easy experience, but it has been the best thing for my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me peace. It helps me know that I am loved and that I don't need to be perfect, because I can apply the Atonement to my daily life.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a Full-Time Missionary in Nashville, TN. I will leave my current life behind and focus only on spreading the good news, that Christ died for us and you can return to live with him and God again someday.
