Hi I'm Eden Adams

I grew up in rural Central Utah. I plan to be a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything that involves being outside, watching Netflix, animals, babies, and food. I recently got called to serve a Mission starting in December, and I am super excited to help bring people unto Christ. When I get back, I plan to go to college for Nursing in Utah. I was a "nerd" in high school. I got good grades, but I still knew how to have a lot of fun! I absolutely love driving, music, rain, and spending time with friends and family. I am proud to be a Mormon!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, not only because it's the religion I was raised in, but also because I have grown my own testimony (apart from my parents') that has shown me time and time again that our Heavenly Father is real. He loves us more than we could possibly ever understand, and He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die and suffer for MY sins (and believe me, there have been a lot). I have personally come to know that The Savior didn't just suffer and die for everyone, He suffered and died for ME. When I realized that, I could feel, for the first time in my life, that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me personally and love me and would do anything for me. I have just been building on that ever since. First, it was learning that they know and love me. Then, I began trusting in The Savior's Atoning sacrifice. I began to believe that I could actually be forgiven for my sins. I began to realize how truly loving our Heavenly Father is. He wants us to repent. He wants us to be whole. At that point, I wasn't afraid to repent anymore. Now I feel whole and complete and like I could stand before God and honestly say that I did everything I could not to take Jesus Christ's death and suffering for granted. I still have a long ways to go, but I KNOW that as long as I stay on the right path, I can make it back to live with my Heavenly Father, and I can reach a level of happiness that is incomprehensible to me right now. So, in short, I am a Mormon because I want to be happy.

How I live my faith

I am constantly serving other people. I surround myself with people who enjoy doing the same. I don't currently have any callings (other than my mission call), but I use to be in the presidency to help the young women in my Church. I also recently returned from a Church History Tour. We traveled all across the East Coast learning about American and LDS History. It was a life changing experience!
