Hi I'm James Jr.

I grew up in Ogden. I've always wanted to be a missionary and love learning new cultures and new languages. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always had a fascination with dragons. When I was young I wanted my parents to call me "Dragon James" instead of my regular name. The fantasy world of dragons stills interests me. Aside from that fascination, my parents also encouraged me start learning the piano when I was young and I continued to take lessons until high school. When I started junior high I picked up the viola and loved to learn a new instrument. Music has enriched my life and has been a way for me to connect with others. Two of my closest companions are my little sister and my cat. I love traveling and learning new things with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church growing up, but gained my testimony and faith of the church when I read the Book of Mormon for myself. The Spirit made me know of its truth. I've already had ups and downs in my life, but the church with Christ's light has always helped me through. Little by little my testimony grows along with my conviction to serve in Christ's church.

How I live my faith

I have served in my ward as a Deacon, Teacher, and Priest. These callings prepare, administer, and bless the sacrament on Sunday. I also live my faith by going to the temple and performing ordinances and talking to my friends about the gospel. Most recently I have been called to serve as a missionary in Mexico.
