Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Utah. My family is from Portugal. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up near the mountains, but my heart has always belonged to the beach. My mother at a very young age traveled to the United States, to live her religion, from the beautiful country of Portugal. I have done numerous humanitarian efforts here in Utah and one in the beautiful country of Fiji. I enjoy beach volleyball, ranching, and spending time with my family. I will be serving a mission in the Brasil, Sao Paulo East Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a convert to the church, and decided that she wanted to marry and have her children within the church. She moved to the United States, found my father, and got married in the Salt Lake Temple. She taught us at a young age that whatever you believe in, to go forth in faith. To allow that which brings you joy to change your life, just like the gospel did with hers. I know for a fact that if you want to find TRUE joy, not the happiness that comes through this worldly life, the best source on this Earth is to pray to our Heavenly Father. He knows and loves you, and he understands what it is like to have TRUE joy, because he has experienced it. I love my Savior and I love this gospel. I love how it brings so much joy into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by practicing what I teach. Whatever religion you may be, it is important you have the faith to practice within your religion wholeheartedly. If you are going to teach, it is important to be able to testify of those beliefs that you hold so close to your heart to those people who are serious about finding the love of their Heavenly Father. And the only way I can do that is by exemplifying the spirit of Christ within my life. No matter what you do, do it with Faith.
