Hi I'm Brandon Lloyd

I grew up on a farm in Caribou County Idaho. I decided to serve a mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small farming community where I also went to high school. I played football and basketball and ran track. I love the outdoors and love watching good movies. The next step in my life is to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church. When I was younger I went to church because that is what my parents told me I was supposed to do, and I was told it was a good thing to do. As I got older the realization that I needed my own testimony grew, and I decided that I would seek to gain a stronger testimony of the Gospel. I always believed that the gospel was true, but when I was a young teenager, I analyzed in my mind why that was so. I asked myself, "Is it because I have been told it is true by family friends or is it because I know for myself?" As I asked myself this question and prayed for an answer, a gradual realization, which I believe was personal revelation, came over me. I remembered all the spiritual proceedings that had happened in my life. I remembered the comfort and peace which the holy spirit had given me in times of need, and I remembered the healing I have felt multiple times in my life as I sought for forgiveness of my imperfections. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I have been blessed too many times because of it to deny this, and I know that the Priesthood keys are held through this church because I have been blessed many times by worthy priesthood holders. All of this, is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday. I have served in quorum presidencies, participated in youth activities, and have done home teaching since the age of 14. I try to read the scriptures everyday to increase my knowledge of the gospel, and I always say my personal prayers every day.
