Hi I'm Jasmine

I grew up in New Zealand, and have been raised in the Gospel my whole life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a the 4th child of 10 children, I have 7 sisters and two brothers. I love to sing and be with my family and friends. I love my culture. I love sports and being in the water, whether it be the ocean, a river, lake, pool, anything! I attended BYU-Hawaii from 2015-2016 where I studied music. I recently came home to prepare for my mission, and will return to BYU prior to my mission. I have been called to labor in the Philippines Laoag Mission, and I will preach in the Tagalog language, which will make me tri-lingual! I speak fluent English and Māori, which is my country's native language. I look forward to serving the people of the Philippines.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church and this Gospel brings me so much happiness. I find answers here, to my many question, that I can't find anywhere else. I find true happiness being a part of this Gospel, and I see, and feel the many blessings I've received because of it. I don't where I would be if I wasn't a part of this church. It is a part of me, and it is who I am. I am a Mormon and I'm not afraid to share that with anyone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving service in the community. Over the summer holiday period, I work alongside youth and we do a lot of activities, which include hiking, swimming, learning dances and songs, practicing and learning more about our culture, playing games and sports, etc. I like to help people and make people happy.
