Hi I'm Halayna Aldous

I am a singer-songwriter. I've written over 250 songs about my feelings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I moved around a lot as a kid and even as an adult, but I don't hate it like most people do. I love meeting new people and think of it as an opportunity to learn something new. I write a lot of songs and it makes me happy when I make other people happy with my music. It's also nice to hear that people relate to my music because then I don't feel so alone. Although I love music, the Gospel is the number 1 love of my life and I could never deny the peace or the testimony I have gained because of it. I know it, I live it, and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion was and is a process. True conversion takes work and time. I have read the Book of Mormon and attended church with my family since I was little. How I gained my testimony was by praying and getting answers, seeing God's hand in my life, and feeling the peace and joy that comes from truly putting the Lord first.

How I live my faith

In a few weeks, I am going on a mission to Virginia, Spanish-speaking to share my testimony and to grow closer to my Savior. My calling in church is Ward Missionary. I've found truly living the Gospel seeps into everything I do. It affects how I treat my friends, family, and strangers! Living the Gospel to me means always trying to be a good representative of Christ and His church. I try to do that every day, though I'm not perfect.
