Hi I'm Alyssa Bohman

I love making music, watching movies, and laughing. Most importantly, I love my Heavenly Father and His children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Texas. I'm currently taking a break from school for a year and a half to serve as a full-time missionary in the New Mexico Farmington mission. I love playing piano, ukulele, and a few other instruments and singing in the car is one of my favorite things ever. I love learning, especially about other people and their stories. And I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true. As I've read it, I have felt the Holy Spirit testifying to me that it is the Word of God. It really is another testament of Jesus Christ and when I read it, I can feel His love for me. Whenever I ever have doubts, I know that I can pray to my Father in Heaven and He will answer me if I have a sincere desire to know His will. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. And I know that this is His church on the earth today, and I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith seven-days a week by trying my best to follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He sought after those He could serve and is the ultimate Exemplar of selfless love. I'm far from perfect, but I live my faith is by making it a priority to try and be a little bit better each and every day.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Alyssa Bohman
The greatest blessing to me of reading the scriptures is how they help me grow closer to God and Jesus Christ. As I read their words, I feel their love and I can receive guidance for my life if I carefully study them. Show more Show less
