Hi I'm Jeffrey

I grew up in Sacramento, California. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a big sports guy. I grew up playing soccer and basketball my entire life. I played for my school teams as well as competitive club teams. I was also very active in the Boy Scouts of America program. I am an Eagle Scout. I decided to go on a 2 year mission and got my call to serve in the Peru Lima West Mission. I report September 5, 2017.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the joy, happiness, and hope that it has brought into my life, my family's life, and the lives of others. I have had the Spirit manifest the truthfulness of the gospel unto me and it has guided my life. The gospel has taught me principles and values that have helped me become a better person. I have a testimony in the Book of Mormon and I know it to be true. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that he restored the gospel back onto this earth. I know that we have a living prophet today that leads and guides us through revelation given unto him through Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and for him providing all mankind with the Atonement. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us unconditionally and that they want what is best for us. I know that families can be together forever and that if we endure to the end, we will have eternal life with our loved ones and with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I attend church on a regular basis. I attended Seminary all 4 years of high school and graduated. I have had the opportunity to serve through some church callings. I was the secretary for the Deacon's Quorum, Second Counselor in the Teacher's Quorum, and First Assistant to the Bishop in Priest Quorum. I have had the privilege of hometeaching. Through that, I have built closer relationships with members in my ward as well as strengthening the family unit through spiritual messages. There have also been Sundays where another priesthood holder and I would take the sacrament to injured or sick members who were unable to attend church.
