Hi I'm Mike Goleman

I grew up in Mississippi and Louisiana. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My hobbies are fishing, gardening and handyman work. I'am a husband, father and grandpa. I enjoy walking daily early morning when it is quiet

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Southern part of the USA, and proud of my heritage. My folks were very hard working people, but were not very religious. My days and weekends were consumed with hunting and fishing and running the hills we called it. My grandmother on my mother's side was very religious and many of her generations were LDS. To make her happy we had a mass baptism of over 10 people. The church stuck later in my life when for some reason, I went to Salt Lake City, but the crowning point was going to Ricks College(loved the cold weather). While at Ricks, I gained a powerful testimony of the Book of Mormon. After finding the truth and with the help of some great friends at Ricks, I decide to serve a mission. I can really say at that time, it was the crowning part of my gospel life. I have come to know and understand the love of my Savior, and that this is his church and has been restored in the latter days. Again the Book of Mormon will help you understand his teaching and bring that conversion to you if you read, ponder and pray sincerely.

How I live my faith

My church callings have always been important to me. I really enjoy visiting people and doing my home teaching. I enjoy giving service when and where I can. I really like visiting with the older people and enjoy having fun with the youth.
