Hi I'm Julio

Grew up in California. I enjoy music production and art. I'm a converted Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I appreciate graffiti-art and music. I have produced many hip hop beats and have had fun recording tracks with friends and local artists. I have just finished a year in the Pathway program, an online college course through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have made many friends joining the Church, and one of them has just recently left to Bakersfield, CA to serve a mission in the Spanish language.

Why I am a Mormon

I acknowledge my duty to God. I have felt the Spirit and have seen the changes in my life and in the lives of my family members. Because of the truths that the missionaries have taught us, and because of our commitment to be baptized and follow the Savior, this gospel has been instilled in me, and because I read the Book of Mormon and continue to attend Church and serve the Lord, I know that this is Christ's restored Church and only Church in the world. I know Joseph Smith was called of God to bring forth His purposes and authority in these last days, for our salvation and progression. I know Christ is aware of me, and of us all, and can help us through mortality if we receive and seek His counsel.

How I live my faith

I enjoy Tuesday night visits with my branch. We visit those who are less active in our branch and those who are investigating or who want to become members. I serve as a first counselor to our Elder's quorum president. It is a humbling call to serve with him, and I have seen how God works through us to help His children. I visit the temple often to draw closer to God, and try to do good when I see an opportunity. I am currently preparing to serve a Mormon mission in Salt Lake City, Utah in the Spanish language. I depart the 20th of September this year.
