Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in Utah. I am the youngest of six. I like to read adventure books.

About Me

I love to relax and have a good time. I'm shy but very approachable. I love anything sci fi, action, adventure, or mystery with a hint of romance be it a book, game or movie. I lived in the same house my entire life up too a year before I went on my mission. I didn't graduate regularly I had to take summer school. I went to 6 different schools growing up, 7 if you count the summer school. I'm a very relaxed and easy going person. As long as I like it I'll eat it, read it, watch it or listen to it. I don't really have any preference.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be surrounded by a lot of good influences growing up. When I was old enough to start going to seminary it taught me so much that I had never even considered. I've had a lot of spiritual experiences and it's those experiences that keep me faithful. I absolutely love the feelings I get when I go to the church or temple. Besides having experienced it yourself it's hard to explain. When you're there you know it's right. That you're doing what you're supposed to be doing.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures and pray daily. It's said in a lot of places that our church is a church of action, faith without works is dead. A lot of people who have fallen away from the church don't do the little things that are asked of them such as keep the sabbath day holy, go to church every Sunday, pray, and pay tithing. I strive to do what I can every day to keep my faith strong. One way I do it is service and it doesn't have to be big. Letting someone go in front of you at a line if they're in a big hurry. Help get something off a shelf that they can't reach. Tell someone that they look absolutely awesome. It's the little things. It's easy to find out what works for you. Other people will have they're suggestions and personal ways of living faithful way but do it the way that works best for you.
