Hi I'm Kay Benedict

I'm a Mormon and a happy wife and mother of 8 children. I sing, play piano, ice skate and take dance lessons for fun!

About Me

I have tried to be informed on several subjects such as nutrition, health & well being, languages, training pets and expanding my view to help people with child rearing, addictions or bread making. I make a killer apple and rhubarb pie! I am college educated and take various classes for fun and personal enjoyment. I have learned through the gospel to deal with the baggage of an alcoholic parent and divorced parents.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member all my life, attending church, and being taught to pray daily as well as read and study the scriptures is a saving Grace. Even amidst life's trials Heavenly help is always near and comforting. I feel Heavenly Father's love for me when I pray and ask in faith for a blessing. I am thankful for Christ's sacrifice for me. I am a happy person because of my faith in Him!

How I live my faith

Visiting my neighbors and looking for ways to be of service to them is what I pray for to fulfill my place in the world. I walk daily with my husband and meet more distant neighbors making it easy to feel a part of their lives as well. I am able to express my love for them in a loving way because I sincerely care about them. Daily I ask for guidance from God to express caring words and actions. My neighborhood is unique in that there are various cultures represented. Some neighbors have needed physical things as well as emotional support. I find joy in trying to bless and comfort them.
