Hi I'm Jentrian

I am the eldest of six. I lived in five states. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to write and read. When I started reading, I thought it was boring at first until I started paying attention the words on the page. The words turned into movies in my head and was transferred to a who new world. Reading inspired me to start writing and creating worlds of my own. I also have skills in sewing and crocheting. My first interest in sewing was planted when I was seven, then over the years, my grandmother expanded my knowledge. My first crocheting experience was when I was a freshman in high school though I didn't pick it back up until I graduated. I have been self-teaching since. I have taken pre-requisites for my licensed practical nursing degree. My goal is to be a registered nurse someday so I can help those in need. I worked in a nursing home for two years as a certified nursing assistant. This time in my life was hard, but also a blessing because I was able to be there for those who needed me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it means so much to me that I'll be with my family again. I know for myself that the Book of Mormon is divinely inspired and written by the hands of the prophets. I am learning for myself how all the pieces fit into the Plan of Salvation and why we have standards. I know that the Lord wants us to be happy and He has provided a way through his son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I was first called to be a youth teacher then a children's teacher. Teaching also gave me the chance to learn things for myself. Sometimes it proved difficult, but by relying on the Spirit, I was able to better convey the messages to the youth and children.
