Hi I'm Ali

I'm an aspiring artist. I've been called to serve in the California Bakersfield mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small city in Eastern Idaho. I come from a family of 4 kids. I'm the last girl, second to last child and only blonde in the family. My mom is my absolute best friend. I'm also a total book worm and aspiring artist, you can often find me with my nose in a book or elbow deep in paint. I love to smile and laugh, it can make even the hardest times feel just a little bit better. I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people and make as many friends as I can along the way. I am excited to serve a full-time mission in sunny California. I hope to someday travel and experience the beauties of the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in His plan and I cannot imagine my life without the enfolding arms of this gospel and true light of Christ. It has provided me with peace and comfort in times of trial, light in times of darkness, ability to choose, safety and hope. As a Member of His church I have been blessed with the support and love of a ward family and the promise to live with my family for eternity. I have been blessed with comfort and the knowledge of who I can turn to in difficult times. I know this is the true and everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that He watches out for us and wants the best for us. I know He hears our prayers, our pleas. I know that our lives are the way they are meant to be and that it will all work out in the end. I know because I can see it and feel it in everything around me. The smiling faces of family and friends, the love of a ward, the beauties of the world, the silent prayers for others, and the peace He so graciously provides. “I know it. I live it. I love it.”

How I live my faith

Living my faith is the light in all that I do. It provides a constant reminder of His unending love and keeps me on the right path. As part of being a member I love to participate in service projects whether they be a grand gesture by the ward, a helping hand, or silent giving without taking credit. I also enjoy using my artistic abilities to draw/ paint/ create images of Christ and other spiritual subjects and insights for my family and friends. I love attending our church meetings and feeling the spirit so strongly through the testimonies of others. Living my faith fills my life with warmth and light and hope.
