Hi I'm Blake Boiteux

Mauri! I am a missionary serving in Kiribati. I do Brazilian Jiujistu and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the great state of Utah. I lived most of my life in South Jordan but moved a few years ago to Herriman. I attended Herriman High School, while in High school I participated in the school's Peer Leadership Team (PLT) and was a member of DECA. PLT helped me come to love serving others, there is nothing better than putting a smile on another person's face. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is to go to JiuJitsu and learn self defense.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church to two loving parents. My parents always taught us of the love that the Savior has for us to my siblings and I. My parents always helped us understand what it meant to be a disciple of Christ and it has been a blessing to me. As I grew up, I began to seek a testimony of my own to see if all of this was true. As I went through out high school, I began to seek to understand by reading the scriptures and praying with true intent on whether the things the scriptures testify of are true. I feel a sense of peace every time I seek to further my understanding, even getting a feeling of love whenever I would listen to the prophet speak during General Conference. I testify that the things we learn about are true and that this church is truly Christ's restored church on the earth today. I promise as you truly ponder the message of the Book of Mormon, seek further understanding, and follow the promptings you get through faith in Jesus Christ; you will come to know that it is true as I did.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings I was taught since I was a little child. I willingly follow the commandments that the Savior has for me. Each Sunday or what we call the Sabbath day, my family and I attend church services together. There we are able to develop a testimony and show our love for the Savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the opportunities the church has given me through my callings of being the first assistant to the Bishop in my Priesthood Class, as well as having the opportunity to serve in Special Needs Mutual. I am blessed for all the Savior has done for me and I am excited to serve on a mission to teach of His love.
