Hi I'm Carlie Field

I grew up in Idaho, USA. I have been called to serve as a missionary in the Virginia Chesapeake Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended some college before I left for my mission. I plan to attend and finish my schooling when I return. I love all things music, movies, and art. I have grown up playing instruments, drawing, and singing. The church has always been a big part of my life. I love this church and this gospel, and can't wait to be able to share it with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, but as I've grown older I have continued to feel, and believe that this church is true. Throughout my life I have tried to stay close with my Father in Heaven. I know that He loves me, and wants me to be happy. I love to attend church, and to study in my scriptures. Those are the times in my life when I feel happiest, and know in my heart, that this church is true. I know that God has given us both the Bible, and the Book of Mormon, to use as guides in our lives. The Book of Mormon is the true word of God, and it will not lead us astray. I don't know where I would be without it. I know that this gospel has made me a better person, and I can truly feel God's love for me. I want to share that feeling with others, and for them to know how important they are to our Heavenly Father. Nothing brings me more joy than this church, and knowing the fullness of the gospel. I love God, and this church, and all of the blessings it has brought into my life. I know if we do our part, here on this earth, that Heavenly Father will provide a way for us, and bless both us and our families.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of this church all of my life, and have served in many different callings. I have served as different classes president, a counselor, and a family history consultant. As a class president, or counselor to the president, I have helped plan activities, visit girls in need, and teach lessons in church. The responsibility of a class presidency is to bring the class together, and make all of those in the class feel welcome. As a family history consultant, I was able to learn how to do family history, and how to teach others how to research their family history. It is important to know where we come from, and learn about our ancestors. It was really a great opportunity to learn about my personal history, and my ancestors.
