Hi I'm Linda

I grew up in rural Idaho. I am an educator and I taught elementary school for 25 years in a small community school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I enjoy fishing in the beautiful reservoirs of Idaho. We also love to go 4-wheelers in the mountains. We have been blessed with being able to travel across our country and also internationally. Our trip to Africa was especially interesting and fun. I have four beautiful daughters and eight stepchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life, but it wasn't until I had some trials in mid-life that I realized how important my testimony of my Savior was to me. Even though I was angry with God, He never stopped loving me or giving me guidance in my life. I decided at this difficult time that I should read the Book of Mormon from beginning to the end. I relearned the stories I had heard since my youth and I saw how their lessons gave me hope. I felt peace and comfort even though I was faced with some hard decisions. I gained a testimony of families and their eternal love for each other. I know when I leave this mortal state I will be greeted by loved ones that have been watching over me. I know that I have a purpose here and the Lord will help me complete that purpose.

How I live my faith

In my church I have been asked to teach the young women, ages 12-18. We do service activities, learn how to improve our selves, and learn about Christ-like values. I am also able to visit other women in our ward boundaries and see to their needs. Many friendships have developed though this service.
