Hi I'm Paige Ebmeyer

I love music, especially singing. I have been called to serve in the Utah Salt Lake City East Mission, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I'm the youngest of 3 kids, I have one sister and one brother. I love being with my family more than anything else. I was raised in the church, and am so thankful that something so amazing has always been apart of my life- thanks to my parents. I love all things music, especially singing! Ever since my junior year of high school I have talked about serving a mission for the church. I have been called to serve in the Utah Salt Lake City East Mission, I am so excited! A mission has been a huge goal for me, and I am finally achieving it.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church but as a teenager I often found myself just going to church because I was supposed to. I didn't really have a desire find out for myself is the church was true, I grew up hearing that it was, so I just kinda let that be enough for me. But as I got older I started realizing that I needed to know for myself, especially if I was going to serve a mission. I started to really pray to know if the church was indeed true. I was stubborn about my answer and thought I would have this big obvious experience telling me it was true. I kept thinking I hadn't gotten an answer. When I received my mission call that's when I realized all the experiences I had where my prayer was being answered. It was in the small personal experiences that I often brushed aside thinking it wasn't an answer. After I got my mission call, I prayed to really know that I needed to serve and to know if the church was true. After I ended that prayer, I got this crystal clear feeling telling me that my prayers had been answered but I wasn't listening. Not everything in the church is a grand obvious experience, but that's what makes the gospel so special. It becomes personal. I know without a doubt that this church is true, and I couldn't be happier to be a "mormon"!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings, and studying my scriptures. I love going to church each week and feeling the spirit. When I was 15, I received the answer that I needed to serve a mission. Over the past 4 years, I have had many trials and joys, but through it all I relied on Christ to help me. I lived my life in a way that I could be an example to those around me, an example of our savior Jesus Christ. I know that by living my life in faith, Christ will help me be a better missionary and help me become the person He wants me to be. Christ's plan for us individually is far greater than we will ever know, but if we have faith, he will help us along the way.
