Hi I'm Libby Workman

I grew up in Utah. I am working hard to become a nurse. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time college student seeking a bachelor's degree in science and nursing. As I work toward my degree, I am working as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. My hobbies include sewing, reading, baking, and of course, playing lots and lots of music. I play the violin, Piano, mandolin, ukelele, and a little guitar as well as sing with a small family band.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints my entire life, but my conversion to the Gospel has come over time. Through my own trials and small acts of faith, I have learned for myself that Heavenly Father is really there for me at all times, and I have come to value His presence in my life. I have learned that when you are trying your best to come unto Christ, even the heaviest burdens are lifted, the darkest times are lightened, the smallest efforts are magnified, and joy is multiplied. Living the Gospel is hard work at times, but I have found that as I continue to put my efforts toward following Christ, my life is lifted and I continue to change for the better little bit by little bit.

How I live my faith

I love participating in any service opportunities I get! Whether it's something small like volunteering to play music at a nursing home, or being part of a large humanitarian effort like "Days for Girls", I love using any talents that I can to make the lives of those around me just a little better. Recently, a big step for me in serving others has been my decision to serve an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. This will be a tremendous opportunity for me to seek out those who need help, and to forget myself in their service.
