Hi I'm Tim Benedict

I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and taught LDS seminary and Institute for 36 years. Kay and I will be serving a mission in Estonia.

About Me

My wife and I have eight children and 46 grandchildren. I love sports and helped coach high school wrestling. Many of our grandchildren have had great success in soccer. I taught LDS Seminary and Institute for 36 years. I have tutored math for a number of years. I received my degree in math and physics. Kay and I walk one to two hours every day and it has been a blessing for our physical health and emotional well being. Life has been wonderful!!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a life long member of the Church, but at age 15 received a personal witness that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, that Christ is my personal Savior and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is led by Him through His prophet and apostles. Over the years, I have been blessed with many personal spiritual experiences that have supported that testimony. I know that God loves us and hears and answers our prayers. We can go to Him for help and guidance throughout our lives. The Book of Mormon is an amazing book of scripture and is another witness of Jesus Christ that supports the Holy Bible. We live in the last days in preparation for Christ to return to this earth in glory. I am a happy, Joyful Mormon.

How I live my faith

Kay and I have served numerous times in mission assignments in the church. I was blessed to be able to serve as the Bishop in our Ward. Currently we are teaching primary together. We have been preparing these last few months to serve a mission and just recently received a call to serve in Estonia. We will be working with the Institute program and the young single adults. We are excited to be able to serve and with God's help bless the youth of the Church in that part of the world.
