Hi I'm Itzia Paulina

Hi my name is Paulina, you can call me Pau. I was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Miami, as well as DFW, Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to go on a mission in Cuiabà, Brazil. So I'll soon be a missionary! Prior to my mission I was a college student and complete my first two years of my college career. In college I'm a psychology major with a minor in biology, chemistry, and Spanish. At home I speak Spanish since I live in a Latino/Hispanic household. My mother, or as I call her my Mami, is from Puerto Rico. And my Father is from Guatemala. And so I have both cultures in me. However my household only consists of My mami, my little sister, and I since my parents are divorced. My hobbies include: singing, dancing, acting, drawing, reading books, learning languages, learning about other cultures, collecting cool rocks and crystals, and listening to music in other languages.

Why I am a Mormon

By default I am mormon having been born in the church, however I have had my fair share of trials and tribulations to which questioned and tested my faith. Throughout these experiences in my life I've learned many lessons that drew me to the strong testimony I have today. I know that true happiness is found in being a Mormon, many times I have tried to find happiness in things offered by the world and it only left me feeling empty. I love the gospel with all my heart and appreciate all the marvelous things it offers me in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by not being afraid to stand up for my beliefs. I've had opportunities to work with music and little children at church.
