Hi I'm Narin

I was born in Korea, but grew up in Virginia. I love trying new things and one of my dreams is to travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sophmore in college, but am currently taking a break because I am going into the Provo MTC for my mission very soon. My favorite hobby is listening to music because it comforts me and allows me to escape from moments when I am feeling overwhelmed or stressed. I also enjoy cooking and of course, eating food especially Korean dishes. I am a huge fan of any physical activity; one that I love is surfing. I'm not particularly a pro at it, but I love it because it's fun and, for me, I always feel one with the ocean and I have so much gratitude for this amazing body of water.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because the gospel has changed my life in a way that I don't think anyone else would be able to. Although I was born into the church, I still had a personal conversion of the gospel because I had to find out for myself if this was the true church. God has helped me endure through trials and understand how I can change myself to be worthy to stand before Him in the life after this one. I love this gospel and am so excited to teach it to others because I want them to feel the same joy and love I have felt from living and believing this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my fath mostly through being an example. It's been awhile since I've held a calling in the church, but I am totally okay with it because I am still able to touch others by how I behave around them. I always keep the example Jesus Christ was in my mind because He loved everyone and treated them like children of God. The way He lived encourages me to be the best that I can be every day and treat everyone the same manner God treats them.
