Hi I'm Kailey

I grew up in Utah. I love this sweet tender gospel and the love our Savior has for each and every one of us. Im a Mormon.

About Me

Im a student, a graduated from high school last year and I've been going to university for a few semesters now. I love playing volleyball and swimming and listening to music! I really love art though. I could paint all day. I love bringing people together, for parties or get-togethers, I love reading and watching good movies, and I love traveling. My favorite place that I've been was Switzerland. I love hiking and being in nature, and I really enjoy trying new, different foods!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because nothing in the world gives me more hope than being a Mormon. I have seen and felt the spirit throughout my life in times of trial or need. I have felt distance from the Spirit when I wasn't following the commandments like I should. But I know that through Christs sacrifice for us, we can be clean and whole and we can have the Spirit once again. I am a Mormon because even in times of sadness and pain, I can find comfort in knowing that my Heavenly Father is mindful of me personally. He loves each one of his precious sons and daughters, and he has given each of them infinite worth. He knows what we are capable of, and he knows that no matter how far gone we may believe ourselves to be, we are always loved by Him and able to return back to Him.

How I live my faith

I have always been an active participant in my ward and my stake. I have spent much of my life doing service projects in our ward and community, and playing on our ward volleyball team every year, and I have served with our young women and helped organize activities with them and for them. I am now planning to serve a mission in a few months and I couldn't be more thrilled.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Church services are typically three hours long on Sundays, and in these meetings we sing hymns and listen to talks from members and say prayers. We also partake of the Sacrament, in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice for us. Everyone is welcome at church services! If you have a desire to visit and attend church services, then the congregation you attend will welcome you with open arms. Show more Show less
