Hi I'm Dustin

I have lived most of my life in Salcha, Alaska. I am getting prepared to serve in the Chile Concepción Mission for two years.

About Me

I enjoy many kinds of sports, but mainly soccer (or football depending on who is reading this) and wrestling. I wrestled my middle school years and all but my senior year of high school. Unfortunately I was only able to play soccer my senior year. I enjoy music and playing the piano a little bit. I plan on coming back from my mission and attending college to become a doctor of osteopathy.

Why I am a Mormon

I used to be a Mormon because I was born into a family that was all Mormons and that was just how things were. Later in life I wasn't sure if I was going to serve a mission or even stay in the church. I then watched a close friend, who was the only person I had told about not serving a mission, come home from his mission the happiest man I've ever seen and I saw all the joy and happiness the gospel brought him, his family, his friends, and heard of he joy it brought those he touched on his mission. After that I grew closer to te church and the gospel and my only goal was to follow in his footsteps and serve a mission d my own and bring that joy to all that I could reach and touch.

How I live my faith

I love my faith by teaching any friends or relatives I can about the gospel. I have helped missionaries teach a family that has become close friends with my family. We hope to see them baptised before I leave for my mission in November. I tell my friends anything they are willing to hear anytime they ask.
