Hi I'm Susan

I grew up on the East coast. Now I live in the mountains of the West. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mom of five grown children, with two grandchildren (so far). I joined the LDS church when I was on college and married my high school sweetheart, who also joined the LDS church, after I graduated. Most of my life I've been lucky to be a stay-at-home mom, but as my kids have grown, I've gotten more involved in both acting and writing for children.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up active in a Protestant church, always feeling that God and Jesus Christ should play an important role in my life. As I learned things about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, they touched my soul deeply, making me feel as if I knew these truths already. I love and adore my Savior and feel grateful that I have the opportunity to get to know and serve Him more each day.

How I live my faith

I get to plan activities for the young girls in church to help them learn and grown. Our activities range from swimming and boating to raking leaves for neighbors. I've also worked with an organization to help educate people working in the film community, to improve the quality and quantity of filming in the area.
