Hi I'm David Heredia

I was born and raised in Texas in the United States. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent High School graduate and am the youngest of three. I love music and I love playing the Viola. I picked up the viola in middle school and have been playing for almost 13 years now. I've been called to serve in the Peru Trujillo South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. My grandfather was a convert to the church and was taught by two sister missionaries who had chosen to serve missions. Because those two missionaries chose to serve missionaries they changed my grandfather's life and indirectly changed mine and all of my family and hopefully generations to come. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it is true. I also believe the Bible to be the word of God. I have prayed to our Father in heaven asking in faith and the Holy Ghost testified to me that these things are true. I have received so many blessings from this gospel and I desire to share those blessings with others. I know this church is true and I know that Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today. I love this restored gospel with all of my heart.

How I live my faith

Growing up I was in the leadership of the youth of the church. After receiving my mission call, I was called to be a Primary Teacher teaching the 10-11 year olds of the church. In my community I have played music for others in retirement homes, special needs organizations, and hospitals and I have loved expressing my love for music for them. I live my faith by studying the scriptures and praying every night as well as attending church regularly on Sundays. I try to keep the Sabbath day as spiritually uplifting as possible in remembrance of our Savior, Jesus Christ and his Atonement.
