Hi I'm Jenna

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love sports and music. I moved to St. George, Utah in 2013.

About Me

I love to sing. I also love sports and have been active my whole life. I thoroughly enjoy reading, and psychology was one of my favorite subjects in school. I'm a dog person... still like cats, though. I love the piano and guitar. I attended a semester at Dixie University before becoming a nanny to save up for my mission. I released an album on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play called 'Gold Lining'. I have plans to move to London when I get home from my mission in 2019 to work on my music.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has brought me so much comfort. It's members are far from perfect, but the teachings of the LDS gospel give me hope and make me feel so loved. Being Mormon gives me goals to strive towards and also gives me an example of how I should try to live my life. Being a Mormon encourages me to help everyone around me and to constantly try to better myself. But when I fall, being a Mormon also reminds me that I can ALWAYS get back up and try again. I am SO grateful for this church and the wonderful things it has taught me. The people I have met through it, and the the opportunities I have had to serve have been so incredible, and they only help me become more like the person I am striving to be. I believe that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored the gospel through God's instruction when he was only a boy. His bright faith is the reason I have this gospel in my life today.

How I live my faith

When I was 13 I was called to serve as the president of one of the youth groups for the young women. I served in that calling for 18 months before I was released. I helped plan activities for the youth of our church to participate in and helped put together lessons for the Sunday meetings. I'm now serving an LDS mission for 18 months in the Washington DC Temple Visitor Center.
