Hi I'm Brooklyn Anglin

I grew up in West Jordan, Ut. The most important thing to me is family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year in college, still trying to figure out what field of study I want to pursue. In college I was able to sign up to be in a club which helped others who were struggling with addictions, we would provide healthier alternatives of activities. A couple of my hobbies include horse back riding, dancing, and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all of my life, but not until recently have I fully learned to put all my trust in the Lord's hands. That's probably sad to say but from all the trials I have encountered its not until recently I have a deeper understanding of why we go through what we do. What I have learned when trials come are way is first God is seeing how we react to them and second if we will continue to have the faith to overcome the trials and see the blessings that come from them. While learning this the hard way I was reading an article in the LDS Youth app and it was saying how when first comes a trial majority of the time our reaction is God why is this happening to me? But then I kept reading and when you become more humble during a trial your questions start changing to what can I learn from this trial? That's why i'm a Mormon because we all are prone to make mistakes and go through trials we have a second chance, without second chances we all would be at a lost. That's why I want to continue to follow His gospel to become the better me and help other along the path we all have chosen to follow. I know if we do these things then we will all be able to go back to live with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to work with the youth, and work with young children as well as going into homes of sisters sharing gospel messages as well as just showing my love for all of them. I also try to be an example to all of those that I come in contact with. As I read my scriptures each day i'm realizing that Christ needs to be our constant companion.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon temples? What goes on in Mormon temples?

Brooklyn Anglin
In order to enter the temple you have to be baptized member and be able to meet the qualifications the presidency has sought out to be able to engage in the work of the lord. My stake president help me decipher the word secret from sacred. Secret is something we want to keep hidden so no one who can't enter the temple can find out, but sacred is where when you are worthy to go into the temple to learn the eternal truths about the gospel. Not everything can be explained on what goes on in Mormon temples but it is a special place that everyone can in some point of the future can work on towards being able to go inside and find out.
