Hi I'm Michael

I'm from New Jersey. I love building robots and playing soccer. I'm currently serving a mission in Logan, Utah. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently taking a break from my college education to serve a Mission. Before my mission, I was studying engineering at school. I have always loved learning how things work, building things, and coming up with new ideas. I participated in FIRST robotics through middle school and high school. I played soccer for 12 years and ran track for 6 years. After my mission, I plan on finishing my education in engineering and going on to study business in graduate school.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life and I feel very lucky to have been born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents raised me to follow Heavenly Father's commandments and by extent, to be kind to everyone. I know that this church is true because I know that I am here on Earth today as part of Heavenly Father's plan. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that by studying both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I will be able to have the spirit help me see the difference between right and wrong. I know that the organization of The Church today is the same organization that Jesus created while he lived on Earth. And I know that through Heavenly Father's plan every family, including my own, will be able to live together forever. I continue to follow His gospel today because I have seen it bless the lives of many people, including my own life, and the lives of my family members. I am dedicating two years of my life to teaching other people about my church because I know it is true and I know that my life is better because I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Growing up, I lived my faith by providing service to members of my church and my community. This included various service projects with other youth my age, such as helping elderly members of the community with house and yard work, helping with the relief effort after a natural disaster, and helping to clean up and preserve a state park. More recently, I have lived my faith by organizing events for other Mormon students at my college to spend time together each week while we are away from our families at school. And I am currently living my faith by serving a mission, where I will be teaching people in different communities about my church and my faith.
