Hi I'm Kaori Huanca

I was born in Ibaraki Ken, Japan. I love traveling, photography, and exploring different arts and Im a Mormon.

About Me

My family and I are all converts to the church. I was baptized on July 19th, 2011 and just 2 weeks after my whole family choose to join the church as well. We were sealed as a family in October 2012 and now I am getting ready to serve a mission in Orem Utah! Aside from getting ready to embark on my new journey in Utah, I love to travel and explore different places and cultures. I have a great appreciation and love for photography and art because it shows us things that words can't sometimes explain. I love pottery, and being able to make things that you didn't think you had the ability to do and express yourself through it. I love exploring going on hikes and centering myself in Gods beautiful creations. I am also a full time college student aspiring to become an immigration attorney and help low income families.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Its helped me become who I am today. During my high school days there was no sense of direction in what I should be doing and who I am supposed to be. Temptation is real and though I was baptized in 2011 the transition to high school was hard because I was surrounded by so many things that made me question. Ill never forget what it was like when I fully converted and put trust in the Lords plan for me. The feeling of peace and knowing that this gospel is real and does bless our lives as we follow him. Thats how I decided for myself that I wanted to serve a mission. This gospel is real and it blesses lives if we ourselves let it happen and have faith. I want to be able to help others come unto Christ, help them know of this gospel and how happy it can make each one of us. I want to be able to serve others as other missionaries served my family and I during their mission while having to be away from home so other families could learn of this gospel and build their own personal testimonies. "Dare to be a Mormon; Dare to stand alone. Dare to have a purpose firm; Dare to make it known." Thomas S. Monson

How I live my faith

Im constantly trying to become more Christ like and keep my foundation strong. I attend a newly formed Spanish Branch with my parents and am a Sunday School teacher. I love being able to teach others doctrine and how we are able to continuously keep growing so we can return to our Father In Heaven some day. Having faith in Christ and choosing the right always has been a part of how I live my life. I know that as I stay strong and know who I am and what I stand for and believe in, will help me endure to the end and enjoy of all the many blessings that have been promised to us as we obey and keep His commandments.
