Hi I'm Claire

I love living life to the fullest. I love to paint, play piano, run, hike, and look forward to serving a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm always busy living every adventure life throws at me. Ever since I was a little girl, I've enjoyed art, whether it's doodling on a piece of scratch paper or drawing on the mirrors with my mom's lipstick. As I grew older it has become my one of my favorite past times. I love painting with watercolors or sketching with whatever I can get my hands on. I love music and enjoy playing popular, oldies, musicals or church hymns on the piano. Running has also become one of my favorite activities. In the summertime, I love hiking in the mountains while the winter consists of downhill or cross country skiing. I am an only girl with 3 awesome brothers. I plan to attend college after my LDS mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said, I grew up in the church. As a youth, I simply went through the motions. I always knew the church was true, but through attending church meetings and seminary, reading the scriptures, and praying to my Heavenly Father, my testimony grew. I didn't always have the best self-worth, but once I learned the simple truth that I was a daughter of God, I knew that I could overcome any trial. I came to learn about the Godhead, the Plan of Salvation, and the Atonement of Jesus Christ through daily scripture study and prayer. I know that the church is true. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can live with our Father in Heaven. I know that families can be together forever. I am grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the many blessings we can receive from living it.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the church and loved learning from my teachers. As a teenager, I was in the presidency for Young Women's and loved getting to know and helping the girls in my ward. I have also just received my mission call and am excited to share the Gospel.
