Hi I'm Lauren

I was born in Utah, but I have also lived in Canada, Washington and Ohio. I am a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in many areas, but I spent the majority of my youth in Washington. When I was 15, I started to teach piano. I love to play the piano and find that it brings a peace and warmth into the home. I also enjoy running, playing tennis and almost anything outdoors. As a family, we love being outdoors and playing as many fun games as possible. I recently completed my first year at BYU and am now looking forward to serving my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Through learning about the gospel, I have felt the truth of its teachings touch my heart and I know it to be true. Over the many years I have seen the many blessings that come from simply believing and obeying the commandments. I have developed a strong faith in the gospel and the more I learn the stronger my testimony grows. This gospel brings love and peace into my life and the lives of all those who follow His gospel. I can know Him personally as I pray and receive his guidance in all my doings. In short, I rely on His gospel for my progression.

How I live my faith

While I was in attendance at BYU, I was called upon to visit teach other members of the ward at least once a month. Through this I was able to connect with other members and to serve them in any way necessary. Additionally, I had visiting teachers of my own visit with me monthly, support me and leave me with a message that would both uplift and edify. Upon returning to Ohio, I have taught the younger children, ages 3 and 4, each Sunday for an hour. The many opportunities to teach have helped me to learn and continually progress in my knowledge and understanding.
