Hi I'm Noah

I'm from Mesa, Arizona. I'm becoming a missionary. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated High School, where I played volleyball and basketball. In addition to that, I've also completed two full marathons. I have 5 younger siblings and two loving parents. I will be serving a mission soon in Portugal for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the idea of having an eternal family. This church seals families to be together forever, and I don't know what I would do if I could not see my family after this earth life. In addition, I have read the Book of Mormon, and I know it to be true and the Word of God in this time. Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and he did translate the book through the power of God. We also have a true prophet on the Earth today in President Monson, and I know he was called of God through revelation. This gospel has been such a strong force in my life, and I don't know where I would be without it. It truly is the restored gospel on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I currently am a member of the priests quorum in my church, which is the group of 16-18 year old young men. I am trying to be a good example to those around me by choosing to serve a mission. I've given up offers from schools to play volleyball for them, and have instead elected to go on a mission, which led to teams saying no to my offer of playing for them when I return. But I know that I am making the right decision to go out and serve the Lord and my church, and sacrificing those two years to do the best thing possible for me.
