Hi I'm Carter Williams

I grew up in Idaho and traveled to China to teach English. I love my family, I love music, I love Jesus Christ and I'm a Mormon

About Me

The 3 things that sum me up is music, adventures, and weird talents. I love to play the piano and ukulele. I've recently started writing my own music and love to share it. In regards to adventures, I love to experience new things and travel. Favorite adventures I've had are going to Japan as a cultural exchange, traveling to China to teach English, and going on a mission to Japan to preach the gospel. A few weird/cool things about me are; riding my unicycle, juggling, skydiving, flying a helicopter, doing backflips/parkour, and wiggling my ears.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon. That's a good question. To be honest, for the first 16 years of my life I was a Mormon because my parents and family were. I never really questioned it because I liked how we lived. As I've grown up I've recognized more of why I need the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life everyday. At times going through highschool, and moving to a new state and school, I felt really lonely and not sure what I was really doing with my life. In my time of loneliness I had the church, that I had grown up with, to turn to and really felt the love God had for me and made Jesus Christ my best friend. I love this church and have seen the change it has made in my life and I want to share that with others. That's why I'm on a mission and that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is going to church and youth activities once a week and mission-prep classes once a month. My calling is second councelor in the priest young men group and homing teaching with my father. Those responsibilities include helping out in class and going to other members houses and helping them with anything they need and sharing a spiritual message with them. That is what I do within the church but outside of it I serve wherever I can. I love volunteering to help package and send food to countries in need of it.
