Hi I'm Colton

I grew up in Texas. Currently serving a mission in Phnom Penh Cambodia. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Texas in the Austin area, graduating from a classical education school called Founders and played for a local rugby team who won state and played international leagues. I am the oldest in our family of 7 kids. I am about to serve my mission in Cambodia, November 8th of 2017.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, my mother who has been a member and my father who wasn't. My family was inactive and I never went to church, but my mother still taught me good morals and teachings of Christ. Eventually being taught by the missionaries my dad decided to come to church, he was baptized and ever since I was 12 we attended church. I grew to love and appreciate missionary work since it is what brought my father to the church, and his example of coming sparked my urge to find if it were true. I was surrounded by countless numbers of great friends who I am still in touch with today. And I can testify that this church is true, and that missionary work is vital in these days, and I cannot wait to serve my mission in Cambodia.

How I live my faith

I live to be as Christlike as possible. I do my best to show love and kindness to everyone, providing service for those in need. I love talking to people, being a friend to listen to those in hard times and offering my best advice. I leave November 8th to serve a mission in Cambodia to spread the gospel of Christ and provide service to those in need.
